THE FALL OF MAN
Let’s leave the topic of fallen angels for now and go to the fall of man, specifically Adam and Eve as their downfall plays a significant part in the fall of angels.
The biblical story states that there are two trees in the Garden of Eden – The Tree of Life and the Tree of Good and Evil. God instructed Adam and Eve to only eat of the tree of life for if they eat of the tree of good and evil, they will die.
A snake, a creature of God, tells Eve that what God said is untrue and that the fruit would make them as wise as God. Eve then eats it, tells Adam to do the same, and he does.
God walks through the garden calling out to Adam and Eve but they did not respond. Finally when they did, God sees that they are no longer naked but covered with leaves. God inquires what happened. Adam blames Eve. Eve blames the snake. In the end, God clothes them with animal skin and expels them all out of the Garden and curses both of them and the snake to a life of misery.
